A mixed media project, exploring different fantasy elements, and methods of storytelling.
I wanted to create a journal left behind by an explorer of a fantasy world. I was inspired by the dragonology books. The purpose was to encourage a love of the fantasy genre amongst children aged 7-10.
The illustrations were a mix of watercolour and ink, edited after in photoshop.
I hand bound the journal myself and decorated and distressed the cover.
